Physical exercise is another method of managing stress. Stress is characterized by the increasing levels of stress hormones such as cortisol and adrenaline. Exercise, therefore, can be used as a surrogate to metabolize excessive stress hormones so that one can reach a more relaxed state. It is not a must for someone to do a vigorous physical exercise to achieve this. One can even walk in fresh air. These are brain’s feel-good neurotransmitters. Exercises help a person to forget about someone’s day irritations. Exercise is also effective in improving the mood of a person. Improving the moods of a person is as a result of increased confidence, and lowering symptoms of depression.
